This thread is for any non-game related DH stuff, questions and comments.

Such as, me posting this:

I've just finished rereading the DH rules and I've got, what I think, is a fun and rather elaborate series of small interconnected adventures in my head which I'm starting to get down on paper for finalizing. I've always prided myself on being able to run fun and interesting adventures right off the cuff and that's how I plan to do this one. The game will be story driven and rely more on exciting narrative and less on heavy rules-mongery. Since the game will play be rather slow I should be able to keep up a good schedule.

So far we have 2 players, which is just enough. I'll fill in the blanks with NPCS, and we can pick up new players as we go along, if any show up.

I'm using the original Black Library printing of the rules book. I've heard there's a few changes in the Fantasy Flight book, for those of you that have it, but I don't think it'll make much difference.

Yeah, if you guys want to roll up two PCs, that will be fine. It'll give you more to do as the game will play rather slow I think.

Ok here's the deal. I've started the game in the Story/ GM thread. No one but the GM posts in that thread. All PC activity should be posted in the new Players Game Thread. You tell me what you want to do and say in the players thread and I do the math and write it up all nice in the GM thread. Good? Ok.

The bit I just posted in the GM thread is the intro bit. It is not the starting point. I just wanted to give you all a feel for the way things will work. Please forgive my typos, I spell check and proof read, but this is a lot of text and I need to get it out quickly.

I'll post the first part of the adventure when Guardsman get his Tech Priest character up or I get tired of waiting. Questions or comments, put them in the OOC thread.

Oh and I got excited and bought Creatures Anathema, Disciples of the Dark Gods and the Inquisitors Handbook, yesterday.

I'm thinking about getting the new Radicals Handbook. It's chock full of all kinda of "necessary" evils. But I might want to save my loot for Rogue Trader RPG. I can't decide.

I'm also thinking it would be serious fun to use the profiles for orks and grots from Creatures Anathema to run a one shot adventure as a small ork mob on a sekret mishen. Hilarity ensues.

That's a good idea. I've got Gorka Morka so I can use all the random tables and such from those rules. This is gonna be sweet.
