"Stig. Curtis. Check the lift, make sure they didn't get behind us." Lazerus orders. The two guardsmen hitch up their kit and head to the lift.

Lucius's voice booms over the vox speakers "AA batteries activating, more enemy close air assets approaching on the same vector." With in the psuedo reality of the machine interface he opens fire with the Anti-aircraft guns on the approaching craft .0034 seconds before the =I= identifier symbols appears in red over their radar icons. The ships scatter and jink away. The las cannon batteries machine spirits tracking perfectly. Two of the craft take serious hits and all three disappear out of range.

Prose limps after Lazerus as the arbiter moves slowly through the room, hugging cover weapons ready.

Down below, Tauron frowns. "I thought you'd be my brother...I don't want to go with you..." He backs slowly towards the generatorium doors. "As long as you're here, will you please help me find a room I was in before? It had a very interesting chest I'd like to peruse." He then turns and sprints away from them. The two masked agents backing up the Nanny are to slow to stop him. But not the Nanny, the woman leaps into the air and lands on Tuaron's back knocking him to the floor, they struggle on the ground. The Nanny attempting numerous complicated martial holds and incapacitating grips, while Tauron wiggles and flails about avoiding them all. They continue to struggle as the other two house agents move in slowly.

In the hangar, Prose shouts like a madman and fires his found plasma gun. The grotesque weapon roars like a daemon and warp fire and plamsa spew forth, the top of a pile of cargo crates explodes in blue and orange fire, someone is falling and screaming.

Prose shouts. "They are invisible! But I can see! The Emperor guides my eyes!"

Lazerus fires a short burst into the now visible body burning at the foot of the cargo stack. Las fire out of nowhere shrieks over his head.

More shots come from all around the hangar. One las bolt smacks Father Prose in the temple leaving a large hole clean through his head. The priest drops his weapons and slowly crumples to the floor.

At the lift edge, Curtis spots the advancing house agents and lets fly a las burst into their backs. Hitting one and knocking them to the floor.

As they turn to meet the new threat, Stig fires on them with the heavy stubber. Hot lead smacks all around them but the shots are wild.

Sila and Kron appear at the generatorium doors weapons raised.

Lucious will get on the vox network saying "Enemy craft retrograding from our A.O. batteries now on vigilant overwatch... AVE OMMASIAH!"
after using the vox network Lucious will Get on the radio, "This is Mechanicum Instillation xxxx currently being operated by Tech-Adept Lucious Brokenheart, Representative of the Great Ommasiah, Identify yourselves... the batteries will remain on vigilant guard until a response is herd!"

Proze will drift off into nothingness bring released from his mortal shell... seeing the world as it truly is, a world of emotion, a world of imperfections... the next second he sees a great golden light, thinking it to be the emperor calling him to his rite hand Proze will blissfully walk towards the light, knowing that this was his prearranged time via the Emperor's infinite wisdom... he has come to terms with all he is and all he has done, for truly it is his time. when as he walks he says aloud "father, I have served you well... not take me unto your rite hand"

Stig will continue firing on any and all targets that he sees with the heavy stubber.


Lazerus will try to follow the las bolts back to their sources and fire back, failing that he will start throwing grenades in the general vicinity of the las fire.

Lucius calls out over the stations vox, "Enemy craft retrograding from our A.O. batteries now on vigilant overwatch... AVE OMMASIAH!"

He then broadcasts on all bands, "This is Mechanicum Instillation xxxx currently being operated by Tech-Adept Lucious Brokenheart, Representative of the Great Ommasiah, Identify yourselves... the batteries will remain on vigilant guard until a response is heard!"

His only reply is a series of tones which signify the presence of the Imperial Inquisition.

Stig hammers the two agents below him with a full auto burst. The heavy slugs rip through their flak vests and light armor leaving two smoking corpses in widening pools of blood.

Curtis drops down onto the freight elevator and lines up a shot on the struggling pair.

Lazerus confused by the invisibility of his foes tosses a grenade in their general direction. The frag bounces over a pile of crates and detonates causing the pile to avalanche to the side. Their is a cry and another agent appears bloodied and trapped beneath the fallen cargo, but very much alive.

A las burst scatters over Lazerus's head. As he ducks another three rounds catch him full in the face, knocking him to his knees and stunning him, his helmet begins to fill with blood and the smell of burnt meat..

In the storage area Tauron grapples with his Nanny. The woman easily flips Tauron over and jerks his arms up into a painful arm lock. She kneels on his back and fumbles for a set of mag-shackles at her waist.

Sila and Kron walk up and point las pistols at her head. "Step away from the boy." Sila commands. Her words hiss and crackle in the air and a single snow flake drifts from her open mouth. The Nanny instantly releases Tauron and steps to the side. Kron shoots her in the face. Her body flies backwards and lands at the bottom of the lift, the face a smoking ruin.

"Our Father Prose, avenged." He whispers and lowers his gun. Sila stares at him wide eyed.

Stig, seeing that the area is clear, will return to Lazerus and use his heavy stubber to suppress anywhere the las fire is coming from.

Lazerus will lob another grenade and head for cover.

tuaron will fling himself at kron, screaming wildly, trying to claw and bite him.

Lucious will activate the guns and add the approaching craft as friendly "This is Mechanicum Adept Lucious Brokenheart, your approach is now cleared... hangar doors will open momentarily and AA batteries have you marked as friendly, be warned enemy agents have infiltrated the base via air assault vector through that hangar, caution is advised."

Proze looking back goes to Curtis' side even though he knows she may not be able to hear he says solomly "I am sorry to tell you this Curtis, but every of the faithful has at their core an ability to become a martyr, remember that child."

Proze will now run to the golden light, once at the golden light he will look up and says "My life has been for you, and only in death could I ever repay your debt"...

In the generatorium, Lucius configures the anti-aircraft batteries machine spirit to recognize the Inquisition air craft as friendly. He quickly broadcasts his message, "This is Mechanicum Adept Lucious Brokenheart, your approach is now cleared... the AA batteries have you marked as friendly, be warned enemy agents have infiltrated the base via air assault vector through that hangar, caution is advised."

The vox chirps and a voice replies, "Roger that, Adept Brokenheart. We're moving into position over the base and will hold. "

In the hangar, Lazerus, stunned by the las blasts to the head, tries to shake it off and primes another grenade.

The house agent wounded and trapped among the fallen cargo crates points a plasma pistol at Lazerus and fires. The searing energy impacts just to his left and bores a smoking gouge into the rockrete deck.

The other hidden assailants send las blasts flying across the hangar at Stig and Curtis, but none find there mark.

Stig lugging the heavy stubber moves into cover with Lazerus. Curtis moves to follow him then stops suddenly as if struck. She hears Father Prose speaking clearly inside her head. In a solemn tone the Priests' voice says, "I am sorry to tell you this Curtis, but every of the faithful has at their core an ability to become a martyr, remember that child." The voice trails off, as if over a growing distance, "My life has been for you, and only in death could I ever repay your debt..." and then is gone. Curtis starts and looks around realizing she is still in combat she drops down behind some crates.

In the large storage chamber, Tauron screams and lunges at Kron. Kron side steps easily and tries to crack Tauron in the head with his pistol butt as he flails past, but the noble is also quick and ducks under the blow.

Sila points her weapon at Tauron and speaks in the voice of his mother, her visage shifts into a resemblance of the great and terrible woman, Tauron has feared his entire life. "Be still child! Now is not the time for wanton tantrums. Be still and hold your spirits in check!" She barks at him and he hears the words echo in his mind and must obey.

Back in the hangar, a bright red pill of light appears in the center of the hangar. With a grand flash and a thunderous clap the pill expands into a crimson sphere of force, shunting the damaged shuttle and several large stacks of cargo crates away from its expansion. The shuttle tips over onto its side and the large plasteel containers spill across the room in a calamitous avalanche. Crimson lightning arcs across the hangar floor as the red sphere recedes, leaving in its place, wrapped in a swirling cloud of vapor, a group of seven shadowy individuals.

Lucious will reply "That is a good copy Inquisitional detachment, we await your arrival." He will then focus on what he can do to aid the friendly forces within the hangar... watching as the firefight continues."

getting on the vox he will say "Inquisition assets in our AO, friendly air assets will be above the facility momentarily, prepare for friendly reinforcement."

Curtis will go prone and engage the enemy with the plasma pistol under the crates sending las rounds down range towards him. while sticking to cover

Lazerus will hurl the grenade towards the pile of cargo containers with the attacker underneath it.

Stig will set up his heavy stubber and start spraying down where the las bolts are coming from.
