While unconscious, Lucious' internal systems still remain active, his cognator still churning out probabilities, calculating statistics, factoring in new variables. But something new has entered his systems... it is a fragment of Bianary unlike any in his systems... the counter viral measures have quarantined them to the recesses of his cognator's memory banks.

But while being thrust into unconsciousness Lucious now one with the machine... he can read his own bianary thoughts, he can see and communicate with himself. but while he comes to this realization, he is drawn to an area... higher security measures in this area mean danger but onward does he persist... coming into view of the malformed bianary code within himself... he will then spurt a sentence in bianary to the beast within him "What gives you the rite to invade MY MIND!?!?"

Lazerus, Kron and Stig continue on to follow Sila. Lazerus and Kron continue to help Stig until he can walk for himself.

Sila will hide and wait for her mates. She will attempt to heal Stig.

Lazerus and Kron continue to support the weakened Stig as they cross over the bridge and move out into the frost wastes. They can see the Valkyries as they swoop down making a brutal strafing run on the ravine. Thundering autocannon fire and shrieking las cannon blasts slam into the gorge throwing up pulverized rock dust and the oily black smoke of burning machines.

From her vantage point in the rocks above the ravine, Sila watches wide eyed as the Valkyries open up on the targets below. Three ragged landcrawlers, bearing the cryptic markings of wastes nomad clans, a bulklifter commercia shuttle craft and a group of dark robed mechanicus heretecks, pirates, cyborg thugs and another massive corrupt gunservitor.

The four vehicles come apart violently as the Valkyries weapons fire slams into them, the traitors disappear in the ensuing mayhem of smoke fire and debris.

The Valkyries touch down on a low mesa just on the far side of the ravine, their hatchs slam down and heavily armed squads of Inquisitorial storm troopers disembark and double time it down into the boiling smoke and fire of the ravine. Sila can make out what appears to be a group of officers watching from the ramp of one of the gunships.

Lucius's mind swarms with twisted lines of chaos code work. He studies it's spiraling patterns trying to make sense of the unknowable. The programs are massive and yet intricate, brutal yet full of artistry. The scrap code format wavers and changes, becoming a program language Lucius is familiar with. His mind winces as he realizes the code work is slave protocols eating away at his non overwrite personality files, erasing him from his own mind.

Suddenly there is a flash of light and an alert to pain in his jaw. Lucius is awake and staring into the fear filled face of Arbiter Marx, who prepares to slap him again. Vacther grabs his arm.

"Sweet merciful Emperor! He's awake! Stop! Let me look at him!" Vachter kneels beside Lucius digging into his depleted medical bag.

Lucius's mind is quiet. The scrap code has gone his senses returned. But where did it go.

Lazerus, Stig and Kron continue to head towards the Valkyries.

You... Lucious lifts his arm and tries to feel Marx's face, but when his arm is lifted to viewing, Lucious will stare at what were once his hands.. now nothingness. "where have my flesh appendages gone?" and why does it say I am only 15% operational?"

"One more thing... That Key, can you strap it onto my belt for me?"

Sila will continue waiting for her party and try to keep on eye on the mayhem below.

The savage winds sweep away the worst of the roiling smoke, revealing a scene of total destruction. The Shuttle has split in half and the hatches have blow away. It's blackened hull lies in two jagged pieces on the smoldering molten rocks. The Crawlers are nothing but burning frame works of hot sagging metal. Some storm troopers have rounded up a small group of survivors and are leading them up the hill side towards the valkyries. The other are retrieving smoking body parts and stowing them away in heavy waxed canvas bags.

As Lazerus, Stig and Kron pass by her vantage point Sila calls out to them, carefully lest they shoot her down. Sila crawls down the rocks and joins them. She looks a fright. She is black with grime and her feet are bare and bleeding. The group continues around the ravine. As the group comes out of the rocks and darkness, several servo skulls rise up from the smoke and scan them with a wide array of sensors. The most ornate of the skulls, adorned with gilded laurels and bearing a long service banner and numerous purity seals approached the party. A commanding voice speaks from the vox grill set just behind it's polished teeth.

"Greetings Acolytes. I am your master, Inquisitor DeBaine. It is good to see you have persevered through these unkind challenges of the great adversary. Proceed to the Command Valkyrie I await you." One of the five officers on standing on the valkyrie ramp raises his arm and beckons you.

The storm troopers have moved the prisoners up the hill side and now have them down on their knees as they are shackled. Two mechanicus priest are fittings field nullifier cones over the heads of three of the dark hereteks. There are seven prisoners in all.

Marx stares hard at Lucius and draws his combat blade. He steps forward with the knife at arms length. Vachter looks up from his bandaging work surprised.

"What are you..." Vachter begins. MArx hooks the black key with his knife and lifts it gently into the air.

"Open his pouch! Quickly!" He shouts. Vachter obeys and Marx drops the smoking key inside. Vachter quickly buckles it shut.

"Can we move him?" Askes Marx.

"He can walk. I'm not sure how far. We need to get him to a real medical facility or a mechanicus tech shrine ASAP. He's mechanicus, and they are tough to kill, but I'm not sure how long he last with out proper care." Vachter finishes up his rough first aid work and he and Marx help Lucius to stand. The move in the direction the other went, headed towards the dome exit.

Lazerus, Kron and Stig will head to the Command Valkyrie. Lazerus will give a brief recap of everything that has happened and will ask for permission to take a team back to retrieve Lucious.

Lucious hanging his destroyed arm on the medical officers shoulder for balance will start to walk towards the ships landed.

Trailing behind the group Lucious will keep a low pace as not to over do himself
