After two years of rumors and mumblings Games Workshop has announced the release of their new Ork Stompa kit. It looks well… kinda awesome. Even though I’m from the old school of scratch building all your ork vehicles because there were no good kits for 10 years, I like the fact GW seems to be trying to make up for lost time. Although I’m not real sure what’s going on with that head/face thing.

Rumors have it priced at $95.

Avatars of War have been consistently releasing some of the best looking miniatures on the market today. Their newest, the Dwarf Lord of Chaos is no exception. Sculpted at 28mm scale, the level of detail on this model is stunning, from the leering demon visage on the warhammer to the severed head of a dwarven king hanging from his belt. I would be happy to find any of these great looking metal, Avatars of War minis in my stocking this Christmas.
